An absolutely brilliant piece of film-making, this film -- it made me want to go back and watch everything else Lynch has created. Everything comes together well here, and the results are nothing short of spectacular. Be ready for heady use of symbolism, and lots of metaphor. And afterwards, you may want to pop over to this tidy little analysis of the film over at Salon. This is one I'm going to have to watch a second, possibly even a third, time.
