Wow. This movie questions everything: who to trust, what's real and what's not, what to believe in, and then turns it all on its head. Despite my hunch that I was in for a twist (a la 1995's Haunted), I had no idea what was in store for me, and ended up being very impressed with relative newcomer Amenábar. (Now I'm going to have to go rent Vanilla Sky, which he also did.) Kidman especially gives one of the performances of her career, and Flanagan, Sykes, and Cassidy aren't far behind. Really, there's very little wrong with this movie, so I'm just going to stop here and tell you to rent it, and watch it at night with all the lights out for maximum effect.
